Ultherapy is an FDA-approved skin tightening and lifting procedure that delivers high-intensity focused ultrasound energy (HIFU) to a targeted area to address skin laxity. The HIFU energy is transmitted to precise depths (and at precise temperatures) under the skin.Ultherapy’s focused heat does not damage or disrupt the outer layer of skin but goes beneath it to cause micro-injuries at the deep tissue level. WHAT TO EXPECT AFTER ULTHERAPY
- You can return to your normal activities immediately after your Ultherapy session. Some patients experience temporary redness or tenderness at the treatment site following the procedure, but these symptoms typically dissipate within a few hours.
- Although the ultrasound energy starts working beneath your skin the moment it is delivered, expect to see gradual improvements in skin tightening and lifting over two to three months as collagen production increases. Improvements from Ultherapy can last up to a year or more.
When do i see Results for Ultherapy
Experience initial tightening shortly after treatment, with progressive improvements in skin firmness and elasticity becoming more apparent over the following months.

HOW OFTEN CAN I GET ULTHERAPY?
Ultherapy results depend on your body’s collagen production and natural aging process. Due to Dr. Gujjar’s expertise in combining complementary treatments, many of his patients only require one Ultherapy session to achieve their facial or body sculpting goals. If your goals involve accelerated skin tightening, Dr. Gujjar may advise up to four sessions per year for enhanced collagen production. Maintenance treatments of once or twice per year may be recommended as part of a preventative anti-aging protocol.
